Association of the German Army

The Association of the German Army („Förderkreis Deutsches Heer e.V. < FKH >") was founded in October 1995 in Bonn and is a forum for communication, discussion and platform for those who are engaged with the Bundeswehr and especially with the German Army.

The association wishes to bring together all the major elements within the political, public, economic, and procurement arenas, including scientific research whith a degree of affinity with the German land forces and their involvement in joint and combined peacekeeping missions.

The Association of the German Army has numerous Members of Parliament and high-ranking officers at various national and international levels as active members. They are joined by influential representatives from society as well as retired army personnel and reservists.

Almost all major commercial producers, who are actively involved in the production of equipment for the German Army support the work of the association as financial contributors.

The vision of the Association of the German Army is to bring all the essential elements, values and perspectives of the German Army to the public’s attention. Thereby creating solid arguments for influencing the decision making process in Parliament and within Government.
